Description

These yarns are part of a range of Schafpate that is bought to you as a joint venture between Opal and Viridian. Viridian have sponsored 8 rare breed German sheep – Schafpate – which translate means "Sheep Godfather". The wool is supplied from about 30,000 sheep from the nature reserve in southern Germany where the traditional practice of sheep rearing is still worked by the migrant shepherds.
